An Shu is a cinematographer/writer-director born and raised in Chengdu, China. She went to Beijing for college at the Communication University of China. After graduating she worked for Phoenix TV and gained a 4-year valuable experience there as a journalist/writer-director. Later she moved to Los Angeles and completed her Master’s degree in Film Production at the University of Southern California. 

She believes — ‘‘Staying passionate, persistent, and true to myself will get me to go through all the difficulties.’’ And she always feels that it’s been an honor to be in the cinema world where talented and hardworking people gather.
